    Thanks for the suggestion Chucker. I have been looking to create a MVP accessory/fitment guide incorporating all the info from the Sticky threads in the MVP forum. Not a small task by any means. This would be a good start. PM inbound.

    Timney trigger - have to measure for center of pin to center of screw
    .390 = 610-S
    .512 = 610

    The Leaper's mount is the UTG version, from what I can tell it's the same as stock.

    Part number MNT-MB556

    Only place I've found it. http://www.leapers.com/prod_detail.php?mitem=mount&itemno=MNT-MB556

    Fits very nicely, no problems. Lifts the scope up about 3mm over the stock mounts, but I am having a hard time finding decent sub-10mm rings that don't cost a fortune.

    If using the MDT LSS Chassis, the Odin Works Extended Mag Release works very well with the chassis. Also, because the chassis can use a mil-spec AR mag catch, I'm sure most ambi mag releases will also work well to.

    Not sure if its been posted any place else on the site, but, i put a set of Leupold Duel Dove tail LA 2 piece Remington 700 bases on my MVP 5.56 last night. I'd had them for some time, and finally tried them, PERFECT fit. They had the low twist lock rings, which with my 4x14 vortex is too short. The barrel and scope bell just touch. So, I'm guessing the medium rings will be just about right. This set up puts the vortex scope really down low on the barrel which is what i was looking for. The only problem now, might be that the spent cases might hit, the scope as i try to eject them, its close, the high rings might be the answer to that, IF it does hit with the medium rings.

    The 610-a is the short version.....you have to measure the center of the screw hole to the center of pin

    .390 = 610-S
    .512 = 610

    but what about the -16 on the end of those numbers that adds another 10 bucks onto the price of the trigger?

    MVP 223 varmint with provided scope bases, Burris 30mm Sig Zee rings= medium height will not fit any obj larger than about 48mm, 50-56 or so needs the high, anything larger extra high.

    A 50mm obj and the extra high leave about 1/2" clearance to the barrel, 50mm obj and mediums touch barrel with some MOA dialed in via ring insert.

    I wanted to share that DNZ offers the "Hunt Master" 2 piece Scope Mount for the 7.62 / .308 MVP's.

    I had inquired about the Game Reaper, as the options on their site for fitment state only long or short actions, not a specific 5.56 or 7.62, and having talked with Mossberg about the two actions - Mossberg confirmed that the measurements are different between the two calibers.

    This is the response from DNZ after asking about the 7.62 mounts:

    We have the 2 piece Hunt Master mounts for it.
    Thanks
    Tim

    Sent from my iPhone
    In the mean time I sent another e-mail asking about the options for the Hunt Master, and once I hear back I will post those comments here as well.
    Hope this helps,
    Regards

    FYI my DNZ isn't mounted to a picatinny rail. I removed the weaver base and mounted it straight to rifle.
