Was on a distributors web site checking availability and noticed they have an MVP listed in 7.62,
    it didn't say x what, (7.62 x ??). I hoping 7.62 x 35 (300 BLK).
Anyone have a clue to what it might be for sure ?

Morning, welcome to MossbergMVP.com JHrgr. What distributor website were you on? I would love to see Mossberg produce an MVP in 300 BLK, but I think its gonna be a while. Mossberg has been pretty conservative with their offerings and development for the MVP and as of now only show a 5.56 offering at their web site. Oh well, I guess we are just gonna have to build them ourselves. ;)

Distributor is showing 5.56, 204, 7.62, and one in 300 BLK (not in stock of course).
Now I had to call Mossberg and question that, they said the 7.62 and 300 were coming out in a few months,
was surprised they were being listed already. Looks like good thing are coming....

A couple of months? That's quite fast, actually. I'm not interested in one myself though. 5.56 is great.

7.62×51mm NATO(308) would be my best bet.

Your right. NATO .308 The Mossberg rep was on the TV show Gallery of Guns 2 weeks ago and verified the new models are coming out next year. Did'nt say just when. Also said it will use a 308 detachable mag.

Bring out a fast 243 or 260, or even Grendel, and I will be there

I love my 223, but would also be interested in a 308 model depending on the mag options.

    Thanks for the information!

7.62 x 39 is what I was told. I was also told they would be released in 2013. They also have some new MVP's coming out. The MVP Flex, MVP Patrol and Mossberg MVP Patrol # 27718 in .300 Blk with a Black Syn. stock.

I'll take any of the bunch. I'd love to get this rifle in the shorter stocked predator model in .308 for deer, cats, and two legged creatures.

Davidsons Gallery of Guns has MVPs listed in .204, .223, .308, & .300blk. And they show 24", 20", 18.5" & 16.5" barrel lengths with some being threaded as well. Obviously they are not in stock, but its nice to see they are expanding the line in the right direction. http://www.galleryofguns.com/genie/default.aspx?pg=mfg&mfg=Mossberg Ive got my eye on a 18.5" threaded barrel in .223 and .308.

Welcome to MossbergMVP.com alowerlevel. Thanks for the update from Davidsons. I can't wait to get my hands on the 16.5" 300BLK MVP Patrol Rifle! Do you have an MVP yet?

Thanks, Ive been lurking here for a few months now and figured I might as well sign up. No MVP here yet, I was gonna pick up a .223 24" barreled one but then saw that they listed a 18.5" threaded one and am (im)patiently waiting to find one of those, or possibly one of the 16.5" ones.

I'll seriously buy 2-3 more if they have other calibers. I'd buy .308, .300blk, and the other .223. I'd like some other stock options though if they became available.
