Just got some lancer L5 AWM mags for my MVP patrol in 5.56 and they work great. Up until now I only used pmags which work well but I think the lancer mags are better and I highly recommend if you have not tried. Also bought one brownells 10 round mag just to try which did not feed well, hard to work bolt.

I've heard great things about the Lancer mags although I've never tried them. From being in the military I've got so many GI mags laying around I don't really need to get any more AR15 mags.

Was at range today and a shooter next to me let me try a hex mag in my MVP. It did not stay in mag well, kept falling out and would not feed well. Funny, was looking at the hex mags just before I got the lancers. Glad I went with lancer instead. Sounds like all those metal GI mags you have work well for you though.

I also really like the Lancer mags in my MVP. The smoked ones I like the best, the 10 rd mags are about perfect for me.

That's a nice bag setup for that bench. Betcha he sees the bullets hit.
